Key Stage 3
On intake students are divided into two bands. Students in band one have smaller class sizes, to help with literacy and numeracy development. All Students follow the same curriculum. Students with special educational needs are supported both within class group and with outreach support where appropriate.
The areas of learning at Key Stage 3 are taught through the following subjects;
Learning for Life and Work to include personal development, local and global citizenship and education for Employability are both integrated into the above areas of learning and discreetly delivered through a pastoral programme and careers guidance programme.
The Curriculum is further enriched with the development of the Cross Curricular Skills of Communication, Using Mathematics and Using ICT.
